WHAT WE BELIEVE

The Bible is the true and infallible word of God and given by inspiration of the Holy
Spirit. - (2 Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.)

Scripture teaches that there is only one true and living God who has chosen to reveal
Himself as Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one!; Isaiah 43:10 You are My witnesses, says the Lord, And My servant whom I have chosen, That you may know and believe Me, And understand that I am He. Before Me there was no God formed, Nor shall there be after Me.; Matthew 28:19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,; Luke 3:22 And the Holy Spirit descended in bodily form like a dove upon Him, and a voice came from heaven which said, You are My beloved Son; in You I am well pleased.)

In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, sinless life and his virgin birth. He came to save
man from condemnation of sin by offering himself as an atonement and making it
available to all who exercise faith in Him. (Matthew 1:23 Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel, which is translated, God with us.; Luke 1:31 And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus.; John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.; I Corinthians 15:3 For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,; II Corinthians 5:21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.)

Man is sinful and the need for redemption. (Psalm 51:5 Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, And in sin my mother conceived me.; John 6:44 No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day.; Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,; Romans 5:1-21)

The need for the salvation experience of believing and accepting Jesus into the heart
of man and regeneration by the Holy Spirit- (John 3:15-17 that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.; Romans 10:13 For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.; Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.; II Timothy 1:9 who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began, ; Titus 3:5-7 not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,
whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior,
that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.)

The need for the indwelling of the Holy Ghost. It sanctifying power and enables us to
live a holy life. Given to believers who ask for it with the evidence of speaking in
another language. (Joel 2:28 And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions.; Acts l:8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.; Acts 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. Acts2:38 Then Peter said to them, Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.; I Thessalonians 4:3 For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you should abstain from sexual immorality; I John 2:29 If you know that He is righteous, you know that everyone who practices righteousness is born of Him.)

Prayer and the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provide healing for the human
body in answer to believing prayer. (Matthew 21:22 And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.; Ephesians 6:18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints; Isaiah 53:4-5 Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted.
But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.; James 5:14-15 Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. ; I Peter 2:24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness by whose stripes you were healed.)

Fellowship of fellow believers (Acts 2:42 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.; Hebrews 10:24-25 And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.)

Our physical bodies will die because of the original sin in the garden. (Romans 5:12 Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned; Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment. )

The resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the saved to everlasting life and the
lost without Christ to everlasting damnation. (John 5:24-29 Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. Most assuredly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live. For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself, and has given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of Man. Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation.; Acts 24:15 I have hope in God, which they themselves also accept, that there will be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and the unjust.; Revelations 22:12 And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work. )

The soon return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. (Acts 1:11 who also said, Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.; I Thessalonians 4:13-18 But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words.)
